Solar Water Pump Installation Guide
Follow these steps for proper installation of your solar water pump system
1. Site Preparation
Select a location with maximum sunlight exposure. Clear the area of any obstructions that may cast shadows on the solar panels. Ensure the well or water source is accessible.
2. Solar Panel Mounting
Install the mounting structure securely. Position panels at the optimal angle for your latitude. Connect panels in series or parallel according to voltage requirements.
3. Pump Installation
For submersible pumps: Lower the pump into the well using a safety rope. Ensure the pump is positioned above the well bottom. For surface pumps: Place on a stable, level surface near the water source.
4. Electrical Connections
Connect the solar panels to the controller. Wire the controller to the pump. Use waterproof connectors and proper cable sizing. Follow the wiring diagram in the manual.
5. System Testing
Test the system during peak sunlight hours. Check water flow rate and pressure. Verify all connections are secure. Monitor the system for the first 24 hours of operation.
6. Maintenance Tips
Clean solar panels monthly. Check cable connections quarterly. Inspect the pump annually. Keep the controller dry and well-ventilated.
